A note from the Class Secretary

I love reading class notes! It is the first section of the Wellesley Magazine I go to each time a new issue arrives in my mailbox. I love reading what our classmates are up to, what they’re celebrating or dealing with. Until I had to write the first column for the Fall issue of the Magazine, I had never written with news myself. My excuse was always that I had nothing important to say or that nobody would be interested in reading my news.

Well let me tell you, it is all very interesting. Whether you’re finishing your education, have had a successful career for years, or have made your home life your career. Whether you’ve had your first or your fifth child or just got another pet. Whether you’ve gotten married or are not the marrying kind. Whether you’ve been traveling or have found all you need close to home. We want to hear about! You never know, your story may inspire or encourage your classmate.

If you want to submit news, email me at 1997notes@alum.wellesley.edu. Or you can post it at www.wellesley.edu/alum/. Log in to your account, and click on the E-notes tab. Many of our classmates have already posted on E-notes. You can also upload pictures!

As part of the Class Notes, I will include a trivia question related to the College or our class. All entries should be submitted to my class email (above) by a deadline I will also provide. The first email with the correct answer in my mailbox wins the trivia question. The winner will be featured (picture and update) on our class website.

First trivia question: on the Wellesley Alumnae Association website, how many Wellesley Clubs do NY, MA, and FL have? Please submit your answer by December 5 but AFTER December 1, 2007. As you write in, give us an update on your life!

Hope to hear from you soon!
