Hello! It seems unbelievable that 5 months have already passed since reunion. What a great experience to have been at Wellesley again, surrounded by the amazing women in our class. The good news is that we don’t have to wait another five (or ten) years before we reconnect with classmates. As your new Vice President, it is my job to keep us in touch. Think of me as the class “Social Chair.”

One of the best ways to keep us connected is through “Mini Reunions.” Many of you may have had “minis” without knowing it. Getting together with at least three classmates constitutes a mini reunion. Mini reunions can be held anywhere, anytime. Minis do not need to be complicated or formal or expensive. They can take place at restaurants, museums, concerts, parks or at home. A mini reunion can be in conjunction with a local Wellesley event, it can be a happy hour, a potluck, gathering around the TV to watch the Oscars or gathering to go for a walk or hike.

My goal is to help organize at least one mini reunion a year, but I need you. As Anna said in her letter, I’m currently living in Arizona. As much as I would love to travel the county organizing reunions, it is just not possible. I need classmates in different geographic regions to volunteer to host a mini. If you think you might be interested in hosting, (or co-hosting) a mini, let me know. I can provide a list of classmates in your area, brainstorm, answer questions and help you spread the word about the event. So put aside some time to strengthen old friendships and establish new ones. Hope to hear from you! E-mail me anytime!

PS: If you hold a mini on your own, please let me know and send pics! We would love to put this on the class website and in the Class Notes of Wellesley magazine.
