Our class logo

Our talented classmate, Lillian Lee, has designed two class logos for us and we’re really excited to share them with you. Vote for your favorite! The winning design will become the official Class of 1997 logo.

Cafe Press

Our class now has a store at Cafepress, where you can purchase t-shirts, mugs, notebooks and other fun items. Shop the store and support our class. The proceeds go towards reunion activities, newsletters, and mailings for our class. Do you have an idea for a phrase or a saying for a t-shirt? Send it to Anna. If we use your idea you will get a free t-shirt of your design.

Communication is the key to a healthy relationship!We’d really love to increase communications among our classmates so that you have a voice in what goes on with our class and that we hear your opinions, news, or concerns in a timely manner. One way we can do that is through posting news on E-Notes. If you haven’t used this electronic bulletin board, you can find it at www.wellesley.edu/Alum. You can write as much as you want, your notes are posted right away so your classmates don’t have to wait months for the next installment of Class Notes to read your news, and if that wasn’t good enough, you can post pictures. So, don’t wait any longer!!!

Cutie Pictures on the forums

I know you guys have great pictures of your little ones. Post a picture of your child on our class electronic bulletin (e-notes) at

wellesley.edu/alum. A winning son/daughter will be selected at random to receive a Wellesley t-shirt/onesie.

Discussion Board

Our VP, Lisa has created a Discussion Board for our class on the Wellesley website. To access this, you log into the alumnae website and click on "Discussions", then go to "Classes" and find 1997. Click on where it says "No Picture Available" and subscribe. We hope many of you will join this secure way of exchanging ideas! Have you seen the Cafe Press Class of 1997 merchandize? Would you like to comment on any of the items we have in store? Log on to the discussion group!

Of course, one of the most direct ways we have of communicating is during the reunion. We’ve heard so much positive feedback from you guys about our 10-year reunion that we are very motivated to make the next one even better. Even though it’s still 4 years away, things usually take a while to plan so we want to give you the opportunity to tell us what you liked and didn’t like. Also, tell us how you like your class officers to communicate with you in the years between reunions. We truly do appreciate your opinions!

Class Dues

Have you written your Class Treasurer lately? We’re excited that 27 new members of our class have joined the esteemed ranks of lifetime class member. On January 1, 2009 our class dues will increase to $197. Make Class Lifetime Membership checks for $97 to `Wellesley College Class of 1997' and mail to our class treasurer Margaret Lim at 4393 Headen Way, Santa Clara, CA 95054. Questions? The most miles moved competition

Our Class President has moved 10 times since graduation, and has even lived overseas. How about you? We’ll give away a Class of 1997 t-shirt to the classmate who has moved the most times (a distance of more than 50 miles). Submit your entry to 1997notes@alum.wellesley.edu by December 1, 2008. We’ll announce the winner in our next newsletter.
